Saturday 9/20 Runs

Thanks to Diana Nevitt...

Those training for fall marathons have asked that we revive an old route which circles the town of Springfield touch the areas of each Fit Club. The 20/23 mile runners should bring money with them to buy water/gatorade at the gas stations mentioned in the route. There will be one common water/gatorade stop at the end of Wabash Trail/Sonic at the picnic table. This stop will serve as a 3 time stop for both the 5:30 and 6:30 groups. 6:30 group will use this stop twice. Cindy Saxby has volunteered to place drinks at this stop.

Route details for the 20/23ish mile runners:
Begin at Panera West - 5:30 a.m.

Runners responsible for own drinks at each gas station stop. Bring money!
Stopping at Fit Club West will total approximately 20.5 miles.
Taking the route back to Paneral will give you 23ish.
Adjust route according to individual needs

Route details for the 11 mile runners:
Begin at Panera West - 6:30 a.m.

Complete the first half of the route.
The 11 mile run is an out and back route.
The turn around point is at Fit Club South.
Retrace steps back to Panera West.
Wabash Trail/Sonic water stop will serve as two stops for the 11 mile runners.

Below is a map outling the course. I gave it my best shot at trying to map out the "wiggle part around Lincoln's Home area, city complex and St. Johns's." You may have to wing it around this area.
