Mike Hirsch Benefit, Sat. Sep. 27

Many of you Half Wits may know Mike Hirsch or be familiar with him...tall guy, good shape, bald head...
I first got to know Mike back in 2004 when he trained with Wendy's group for the Chicago Marathon. He has run in our local races and has been a FitClub member. He is a great guy and always has a positive attitude.

Mike, 40, has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer, stage 4.

A fundraising run/walk will be held on Saturday, September 27 with monies from the event going to help the Hirsch family (wife and two young children) in their time of need.
Whether you can or cannot make it on September 27, please show your support of a fellow runner by downloading the registration form (below) and doing what you can!

WHAT: 2 mile race/walk benefiting the Mike Hirsch family.
WHEN: 8:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27th.
WHERE: Start/Finish by picnic shelter and playground off South Grand.
REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is encouraged, but you can register on race day starting at 7:00 a.m. under the picnic shelter. Download Registration Form (.pdf)
