New Year's Day Run

Don't forget about the SRRC's annual Cold Duck Run on New Year's Day morning. Here's the info from the club website:

Jan 1
8:00 a.m.
First Day Run
Location: Washington Park, Springfield, IL
Join other SRRC Members welcoming in the New Year with a bit of bubbly and a casual run around Washington Park on New Years Day. The festivities usually start around 7am with a toasty fire near the shelter west of the tennis courts. Bring a snack, beverage or whatever you wish to munch on.

Hmmm... this board sure is quiet.. did everyone enjoy new years eve just a little too much like me??? Sure was fun, but OH that next day hurts!
Way to go to those who DID get up and run!

Did anyone run that morning. It sure was a cold day. You are one brave soul if you did. I was in bed.

I saw some runners but they weren't current 1/2 wits. I ran around the park at 7:30, saw Katie, Kevin, the Coopers, and Jim. We ran through the neighborhoods and in the park. It was cold but we didn't notice b/c we had so much fun talking! It's just always fun to run w/ people.
(I didn't stick around to see if anyone brought Cold Duck or food)
