Yes, lose the fricken 10 pounds I gained over the holidays! It sure was fun putting it on but it's not going to be fun taking it off. I'll have to cut back to one Tombstone pizza instead of two, :). I've got some motivation though, I just booked my flight to Marco and I'm leaving in two months. I'm really going to need Halfwits to keep me running.

Tim, are you sure you don't want to start Halfwits this Sat.? Just kidding, but I really do need it.

Pamela,

The Frost Toes will be running this Saturday. Just keep your eyes on www.frost-toes.blogspot.com for the route information.

I haven't made resolutions in years, but I hereby resolve to do what I can to help Pam lose those fricken 10 pounds!

Happy 2008 everyone! I don't have any specific new year's resolutions, but I know what everyone is saying about gaining 10 lbs over the holidays!

I can't wait until the HalfWits training starts again.

My 2008 Resolutions:

1) Eat more cheese
2) Don't leave crayons in the sun
3) Don't let ants in the sugar
4) Buy stock in Motrin and Tombstone

Okay Chuck and Barry, how did you do today with your eating healthy and exercising more? I have to say, I did pretty well. I kept eating strawberries and oranges whenever I wanted chocolate. My stomach hurt from all the seeds in the strawberries but hey, I stayed away from the chocolate. They say if you keep simple sugars out of your system for two weeks, fruit will taste a lot sweeter. I also ran 4 miles on the treadmill, yuk, I hate the treadmill but better than the alternative.

Barry, are you guys running from Panera this Sat.? Oh, I need to check the blog.

Anne, get out of town, you are so thin, you need to pick up our extra pounds.

Jenni, you should have bought stock in Tombstone last year before I cut down, lol.

We will all be lean, mean fighting machines for the LM half. Maybe we can move our butts faster with the extra pounds off of it, hehehe.

In 2008 I resolve to save more money. So Pam go ahead and buy two Tombstone pizza's; you eat one and give me the other one. See how easy it will be for me to save money. Life is great in 2008!!!

I seem to remember our favorite nutritionist saying her preferred pre race meal was a Tombstone pizza. So even in cut back mode, I'd still make money!

I want to add another resolution.
5. Destroy the evil creators and perpetrators of Webkinz. They've stolen my daughter and I'd like her back.

One resolution for me is to run with more runners from Springfield. I think that if I commit to this I could meet 200 or more runners by the end of the year.

2007 was so much fun and I have enjoyed every 'running' moment! Including my least favorite course, Abe's Amble! I have gotten to know so many fantastic people and want to say THANK YOU to each of you. You have impacted my life in ways you don't even know.

Happy New Year!

Hey Pam,

I got on the Nautilus machines after work for the first time in over a month. But I had lunch at New Buffet City.

I call that a wash. There's an 11.3 mile route on the Frost Toes blog for Saturday.

Pam,
I ate healthy today and exercised. But I am sure hungry. It sooo much easier to be a slug, and eat 4 candybars, some chicken wings, nachos, a bucket of xmas cookies and watch the Biggest Loser on T.V.

Jenni, your stock info sounds good. Is that considered insider stock information?

Joy, It was fun running behind you. I sure in heck couldnt run with you. - LOL

Anne, Finders keepers. What I lose you got to keep right? ha ha

Barry, Buffet City? Now thats starting the New Year with a bang. I heard the management yell, "You here too long, you go home now, you here four hours, go now!

Tim, I am going to save money too. I am going to stop eating at Joes Pizza.

Hillary, youll need to pace us Half-Ton Half Wits.

Chuck: sure you enjoy running behind Joy, you enjoy running behind ALL women...but you can't say that stuff anymore as an almost-married-man!

Joy: I'll take partial credit for Abe's being your least favorite course...and I'll take full credit for the LM being a tad "rolling" in second half of the course! Gotta like those hills!

Wendy and I participated in our "December Initiative" to combat the evil calorie monster over the holidays. And I have to say, I feel better today than I did on December 1!

Looking forward to the Half Wits, y'all!
