You are all cordially invited to the SRRC picnic at Lake Park, Saturday, Sept. 8th from 3-6 pm. The club provides protein, (no not whey or anything like that) chicken and hotdogs and soft drinks so it's up to you to bring the microbrew, martini's or other adult beverages, a dish and maybe a lawn chair to rest your weary running bones! It should be fun, DJ provided.

Barb has to get a ballpark number of attendees. She needs a final count no later than this Wednesday, September 5. $5 per family gets you in. We look forward to seeing our SRRC friends!

Directions: Take Exit 94 off I-55 (East Lake Shore Drive exit) or go east on Stevenson Drive. Cross Spaulding Dam to East Lake Shore Drive and continue past Lincoln Greens Golf Course and through the curve that sweeps along the shore of the lake. After the curve, the road straightens out and the parking area to Lake Park is just a short way up the road, just before the turn-off to Henson Robinson Zoo.
