Yep, you folks who can't make our Tuesday night runs are really missing out. Our Half Wits meteorological adventure continued tonight with a wonderful lightning display during our workout and we even had our first rain of the 2006 Half Wits.
We are truly living up to the name of this group.
Whatcha y'all think of that workout tonight. It is kind of fun when we all finish together.

Half Wits, you amaze me. If your current job doesn't pan out and you want to jump into another profession, I think you guys have the qualifications of a postal worker...Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these Half Wits from the swift completion of their appointed runs. :)

Next time ask fellow Half Wit - Jessica English, to provide you all some of those neat Channel 20 umbrellas they give away.
As I was heading home I saw lightning strike the TV tower at Glenwood High School. Two forks of lightning converged and struck the top of the tower and a shower of sparks cascaded down to the ground. If I had been running at the time I would have sprinted home as fast as I could.
Last night's workout was fun. It was tough but not as painful as running up and down hills all night.

I liked the negative sprints(?), it was an adventure in the rain. The best part is the finish and visiting.
