Thursday, Saturday routes

For Thursday, I think we'll run from the Washington Park shelter to the YMCA and back. It is about 4.25 miles. Water is available in the lobby of the Y. To see the route and the description, here's the link to the map on usatf: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=13296

For Saturday we are scheduled to cut back to 7 miles. We'll run a route from Panera south through Panther Creek. I will put water in the parking lot of the Panther Creek clubhouse. Also, if you need a bathroom, there is the Meijer gas station just across the intersection at Route 4 and Mathers. This route is a little over 7 miles, but hey, we are tough! Here is a link to that route: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=12868

OK? Any questions? Do you want to instead run 15 miles this weekend?

Hi, can anyone run with the half wits? If so what times do you start running?
Thanks

Yep...we welcome anyone who wants to join our crazy group. We have about 90 people in the Half Wits, so there is a pace for anyone.

We meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5:30 pm at the Washington Park shelter near the playground.

On Saturdays we meet at 7:30 a.m. at the west-side Panera for our long runs. This week has us running seven miles. Next Saturday (3/18) we will run the Lincoln Memorial half marathon course.

Let us know if you have more questions and we hope to see you with the Half Wits.
