Carillon Hill repeats for Tuesday, 3/25

OK...this will be our final hill workout before the Lincoln Memorial. Next week we'll taper down for race day and just do straight runs on Tuesday and Thursday nights...no hills or speedwork.

So, for this Tuesday, March 25 we'll go back to the Carillon hill in Washington Park.

We'll leave the tennis court parking lot at 5:30 pm. For our warm up, turn left out of the parking lot and left again at the Park Street entrance. Down the hill by the pavillon, turn left and around the lower pond to the foot of the Carillon hill.

Take a rest for a couple minutes to let everyone gather up, then we'll go up the hill six times. Run hard to the top then jog/walk back to the bottom. Rest for a couple minutes then repeat.

Cool down back the same way as the warmup.

Ok Tim & Wendy, I am sooo thinking of you two right now. I am sitting in sunny Florida sipping a wine listening to Jimmy Buffett getting ready to watch the sunset. Ran 10mi today on a beautiful run/bike path. Ran through Seaside. Ok Tim (movie buff) what was the Jim Carey movie filmed in Seaside?? I'll buy a beer next time if U guess!

Sounds like the LM course was a hit. Good job to all that made the training run a successful one.

All take care and C U on the trails soon.

Your right!! I owe you a drink after the LM. Let me know your flavor. Where did you stay? We are on a private street just steps from the beach and pool. The street is lined with quaint row houses with lovely southern porches. I feel like I'm in S. Carolina. Tonight is an outdoor concert at Seaside. Email some spots you went to: Knoonan@insightbb.com

Thanks.

Kim,
That's the place I was trying to describe in Seaside. They have an icecream parlor and a restaurant called "Pickles" just a realy cute place. There's a little light house also. Great place to take family pictures. They have a bike trail that I ran on, when I trained for Chicago two years ago. Glad you are having fun!
