Back from Key West and ready to roll...

Too much food, too much booze, not enough running...ahhhhh, vacation!
Nice photo, huh? Courtesy of Wendy's photography skills, it was taken from a briliant white beach that comes up on the low tide somewhere off of Sugarloaf Key (I'm sitting on the stern of the boat). And that was about the time we saw a big shark about 30 yards out from the boat!
We went with Captain Andrea who took us out on her boat, bringing along kayaks for a little eco-tour of the area.
Awesome!
Keep checking the blog. I'll have this week's stuff up soon. We are in the home stretch...less than a month until race day!

Tim and Wendy,
I hate you guys for having sun, fun and of course booze. Are you sure it was Captain Andrea giving you guys a tour...I'm sure his name was Captain Morgan and the sharks you saw were land sharks from Margaritaville.

BTW, I was happy to complete the 12 mile run with the Half Wits this Sat. I actually cant believe I ran that long considering I havnt ran more than 6.5 miles this year and the last run I did was 3 weeks ago. I am sore, but its a good sore.

Thanks to all who ran at an easy pace with me especially Stef and Lisa. Kari and Kathy x 2, I know I said I would run with you all but with you guys not to far away, you kept me motivated.

Welcome back Tim and Wendy!

Good job finishing the 12 miles Chuck!! Told ya you could do it!!
Yep, we had you in our sights pretty much the whole way so... as they say, we 'had your back'! Love how your 'snail pace' is still faster than ours!!
