I will not be at Washington Park on Tuesday evening, so someone please take charge and tell everyone to run...we don't want everyone standing around wondering what to do!!
We hit the hills again for Tuesday's run:
From the tennis courts, go left out of the parking lot, then turn left and go past the gazebo and down the hill by the pavillion. Turn left at the bottom of the hill and around the lower pond to the bottom of the carillon hill.
We will do six repeats of the carillon hill...run hard to the top, turn around and jog/walk to the bottom, take a short rest then repeat.
Cool down back the same way as the warmup run.
Enjoy!

Nice quote by Bryan Glass on page two of this article about the Mardi Gras Marathon.

I think that is one of my new faves.
Great job by the 10 or so brave souls that showed up last night. To the three that have not run hills until last night - FANTASTIC job. Hills are difficult, but they do help make you a stronger runner. Lifting some weights will help with hills as well. And remember, short strides!
