Route for Saturday, March 1!

Yes, Saturday brings us March! And it brings us our 11 miler.

I will not be at our next two Saturday runs. A big thank you to Mary Rogers and Pam Enno for stepping forward to handle the hydration stops.

For this Saturday we'll run a familiar route for Half Wits vets as we go to Fit Club South and back via the Wabash Trail and Stanford Avenue. One little twist (so we can get 11), is that we'll run west from the Panera parking lot and do a little loop out to Koke Mill and then to the trail (same on the way back).

Hydration will be at the Wabash Trail parking lot and at Fit Club South (as well as restrooms).

Click here for a link to the map of Saturday's route.

Have a good time!!!

Have a great time in Key West. We'll see you in a couple of weeks.

Does this mean that all the times we've run the original 11-mile route we weren't really running 11 miles?

Do I need to change my old training logs?

Hey Tim Mu: A little birdie told me you are considering running Chicago again! I was crazy enough to sign up again so I think you should too!! Pam and I need some good moral support to help us get through the grueling training.

What do ya think??

Hey Kari,

I actually quoted somebody else talking about completing instead of competing. But it's my personal motto and really always has been.

See ya Saturday!

Tim, You better sign up for Chicago soon because it's getting full.

Mary F., I hope you are signed up too! Anyone else that is thinking about running Chicago, get your butts signed up. It's more fun running with a group, than alone :).

Barry - you've been smokin' your running socks again! Thanks for the cheering up Saturday - by mile 12 I was toast - by mile 14, thought, we were ready to kick butt and finished a whole heck of a lot better than those middle miles of our 17 mile run!

Great job everyone and we'll see you Saturday!

Mary, I'm going to have to pick up the jugs from you to put out for Sat. I can't run because I have to take another three weeks off because of this darn planters faciitis. Crap, it gets worse as I run so I'm doing cross training. Are you going to be at Panera at 7:30? Is Barry? I will show up at 7:30 to direct the group if nobody is going to be there but like I said before, I can't run so it would be nice if someone else can direct the group.
