Packet pickup for Frostbite is this Friday from 4pm to 6pm at:
THE NEW SPORTSCARE FACILITY AT CHATHAM ROAD AND WASHINGTON!!!
It is not at the Koke Mill location as it has been in past years. The new facility is in the former Blockbuster video building.
Packets will also be available on race day (Sunday) starting at 7:30 a.m. at Fit Club West.

At mile 3.5 of the race I heard 3 gunshots. The first thing that came to mind was some deer hunter was shooting and I was hoping he wasn't aiming toward the 10 mile course. Did others hear the shots?
I heard the gun shots and saw the deer hunter. He was walking through the trees on the right as I crossed the bridge just past mile 3. It didn't appear that he was shooting towards the course, however, he was only about 200 yards away.
Nice! My husband has always said... make it a real sport and supply the deer with a gun!! Sorry, not hunters in this family!

Hey Barry, how about next year we ban all hunters from within one mile of the course; or give us guns so we can shoot back to protect ourselves.it did motivate to run a little faster to get out of gun range on that part of the course.
