April 5K's

Anyone looking for a little change of pace during half-marathon training - there are a couple of 5K's coming up.

Check out the Lincoln College Alumni's 2nd Annual Run, Ramble, and Roll 5K to be held April 28th at 10:00 a.m. in Lincoln. The race is $20, which includes your shirt, a chair massage, and an all you can eat brunch buffet. This is a very low-key race, but a lot of fun! We're also planning a post - race party (after the race and after brunch) at the Alley-Bi in Lincoln. Love to have y'all come on up! The application is available at Lincoln College's Alumni site.

The AMA 5K Race, one of the SRRC points series races, is this Saturday, April 14th, at 8:30 a.m. at Washington Park. Check out the SRRC site for more information - the application form was in the last issue of Foot Trails. For those of you heading to St. Louis - this may be tough, but I heard there are a few people doing both!
