Yes, we'll run tonight! Bring on the snow!

It's just a little snow! As we have shown in the past few years, the Half Wits will run in just about anything, so today's snow will just serve to make Washington Park that much more beautiful this evening as we pound the hills.

We'll see ya there!

Snow? This is nothing. We used to ice skate on the roads in Oconee. I petitioned the USOC to make it an official event. I would've had the corner on it. Look out Tanya Harding.

Okay, I'll admit it--I wimped out. I ran on a treadmill at noon and did some quarter-mile intervals. This winter is really tough for me to deal with, for whatever reason.

Oh Barry! You are one of the many runners in this group that helps us to "KEEP IT STRONG!!!"

I've been treadmilling quite a bit too Barry. Let's face it this weather has been brutal. No shame in being a hamster. We all know you're headed somewhere.

HAMSTER!!! Love it--perfect analogy.

But I am really looking forward to warmer weather. Like, maybe in the 30s?

I will absolutely be there Saturday, though. Can't wait for that.

Barry - you know, there is really nothing wrong with the teens. Its just when you get the teens and strong winds that its really rough. I was out tonight when it was 14 deg with very, very little wind and I was a little over-dressed. As long as you put enough layers on you should be great.

Of course tonight was the first midweek run I've done outside in 2 weeks, so I haven't been exactly loving the temps either.
