Tuesday's workout

Sorry about the late post...tonight we will try to do what we were not able to do last week! I won't be there, so I hope someone takes charge...

For Tuesday, we are going to "run the boulevard" for some 1/2 mile repeats. We will run a warm-up from the shelter over to the boulevard across MacArthur. Take a rest, then we will run around the boulevard at a brisk pace (try running it faster than your normal pace you would run). It is 1/4 mile from MacArthur to Walnut, so running a lap around the boulevard will make it 1/2 mile Take a rest after each 1/2 mile. We will run five 1/2 mile repeats, take a rest, then run a cool down back to the shelter via the "lower" route around the ponds and up the big hill back to the shelter. Does that make sense?

Tim, you had the right idea not being there for the half-mile repeats. They were tough.

Wendy did a great job of taking charge of our motley crew!

Good workout everyone! The weather was awesome. We even had some brave souls in shorts! Wish I had that tan.

Many ran extra 1/2s -- including Barry. Thanks for the help Barry, Pam, Duane & Roger. And the guy in the orange running cap for volunteering to start the second group of 1/2s on the other side of the BLVD.
