St. Louis Shuffle!

Nothing like running a race in St. Louis with my CUBS cap on! Go Cubs Go for a sweep today!

It was a great day in St. Louis. Temp was upper 30s at the start. No wind and it was all sun! It was perfect running weather. I was not cold and I really was not too hot...but I always sweat no matter the weather.

My watch had me at 1:53 flat. Wendy ran a 1:59. I saw Roger, Chuck, Jim and several other Half Wits. Even had some people yell "GO Half Wits" because of the shirt. It was a great race, well organized. The Clydesdales were even out cheering us on as we ran past their paddock at the brewery.

Schlafly's is always good! I was going to get a team photo in Schlafly's but forgot my camera in the car.

That's in case you want to trash (delete) your comment after you post. For me, there is a garbage can under everyone's, since I am the administrator. So, watch out what you say...ha!

Steve ran a 3:51. I did not see Kelby in the results.

St. Louis Half was a blast. I ran easy just to get another 13 miler in and enjoy the scenary and route.

Tim, I think the Clydesdale Horses were looking at me funny as I ran by them. I heard them say in horse talk "There heeeeee isssssss (in my best horse impersonation)". I think they could smell the Miller Lite scent on me and I wanted to gallop out of there as fast as I can.

It was fun running into Tim and Wendy on the course and Roger at the end. Imagine out of thousands and thousands of runners, us Half Wits still manage to sniff each other out. Jill Steiner, I know youll be reading this blog. She ran her P.R. on the Half by 10 minutes. Way to go!!! Penny, way to finish the race strong too.

Schaflys was a great time...If it wasnt so far away from home, I would have camped there all day eating pretzels and drinking brewskis.

See ya all running soon again. Indy Half Wits watch out...its going to be fun.

Pam...the garbage can thingy. It means no trash talking (ha ha)
