Another Saturday!

For those Half Wits who showed up today...great job! For all you other slugs, where were you?! That wind had to be no fun at all.

We are still on our schedule (Tue, Thu, Sat) through April, so feel free to join us even if you are not running Indy.

Next Saturday we'll be running 12 miles; most likely the 12 mile route we ran to Washington Park about a month ago.

St. Louis promises to be fun tomorrow. By bib numbers they are over 9000 runners between both distances and it looks like the weather will be good. We'll give you an update after the race. Feel free to check the results at www.stlouismarathon.com

See ya Tuesday!

P.S.: Happy Birthday to Pam Enno!

Dang it Pam-I just had to get my daughter off to Orlando this morning - but I'm bringing brownies next week - I promise. I ran my own long run this morning - but it wasn't the same without all of you - and I didn't get to share Barry's foil blankie!
Hope your birthday was awesome! Talk to you Monday!

HOpe you enjoyed your chicken nachos!

Oh, and good luck to all you St. Louis runners!

I think we should all go in to purchase Pam a thermometer so she can dress properly for her runs!

Mary, I shared my blankie with the other Mary. You just missed out, baby!

Okay, Pam - I have to confess. I didn't make the brownies. Oprah gave them to me (no, really) and they've been in my freezer for a special occassion. They are now thawed and I figure after the 12 miles next week, we'll surely be ready for them. I figured we needed to run 12 miles to burn the 1200 calories that's in each one anyway. (I did run, by the way - in pants and three shirts - I was way overheated!).

Your mom must have told you that I needed help finishing, because you were my 12th mile angel out there running me in - I think my last mile was my fastest!

You know, I was thinking about my dad during that race and he really loved to cook (he taught me a thing or two). Think your mom was teaching him how to make spaghetti sauce?

Anyway - brownies for sure next week - but you'll have to come find me again!

Barry - I'm jealous! I'll still let you have a brownie. Bring it next week - if it's sunny, we can use it to get a tan on the long long long long 12 mile run!

I love your superman picture below, by the way!
