Have some Half Wit Fun at the Saturday Social!!!

If you missed last month's fun at Sebastian's , come out and join your Half Wits at this weekend's April Saturday Social.

We'll be at Bernie's and Betty's Pizza, 1101 Spring Street starting at 7:00 pm this Saturday.

Call the baby sitter and cut loose a little. If last month's Social was any indication, this will be fun!

And mark your calendars now for a special event for the May Saturday Social. We'll have a guided wildflower walk at Lincoln Memorial Gardens starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 22. One of LMGs naturalists will show us the beauty of the Gardens as the season's flowers begin to come into full bloom.

The Gardens would like to have a headcount before the Social, so please RSVP to Half Wit Barb Bonansinga (bbonansinga@sbcglobal.net) by May 14 LMG also asks for a donation of $2.00 per person.

I would suggest that maybe we can donate additional dollars in honor of Gary Thompson who was an SRRC member who passed away last March. Gary was a great guy and a member and volunteer for LMG. Following his death last year, his family asked that memorial donations be made to the Gardens. Maybe we can all pitch in extra money and we can make a little presentation in honor of Gary and on behalf of the SRRC to our LMG guide following our tour? Whatcha think?
