Parking at Bridgeview Park

For those who have not been there before, here is the entrance to Bridgeview Park. This is where we will meet for the run on Saturday.

There is a 3-way stop sign at the intersection as you enter the park. The parking area is through the gate in the center-left portion of this picture. CWLP has told us that gate will be unlocked on Saturday morning, but I would not be surprised with what all has happened this week that the gate might not get unlocked.

If that is the case, please DO NOT park in the lots of the Knights of Columbus Club or the TRN Club. I would suggest parking at the Lake Springfield Marina, which is on your right as you turn on to Lakewood from the I-55 frontage road. It is about 1/4 mile or so from the park.

Also, please remember that we will be running on narrow country roads. There will be traffic. Please be respectful of the cars and any residents along the course. If it is car vs. runner, well, the car will win.

And please dispose of any trash (cups, gu packs, etc) in the garbage bags at the water stops.
