While the Half Wits program calls for at least three days a week of running, I am planning to add Sunday mornings (slow recovery run) and Wednesday evenings to my own running schedule for the Half Wits. I hope to be in fairly good shape for the Indy Mini and I have found five days a week really helps me get to that level.
Sunday mornings would be from the Lincoln Park area. Wednesdays would be from either Lincoln or Washington parks.
If anyone is interested in joining me, just let me know.

Tim's comment got me thinking about crosstraining days...what kind, how much, etc.? I would be interested in hearing who does what and if you think it has helped your running?
I usually bike if it is warm enough but lately I've been doing power yoga for 30-45 minutes. It helps me with strength and flexibility quite a bit.

Sundays and Wednesdays are my rest days. I will be running Monday evenings (5:30ish) from the Washington park area if anyone would like to join me (9 min./ mile pace). Thanks for organizing the training Tim, it's a lot of fun.

I also try to get in some pilates one or two days a week and lately have also been doing the Team Gravity classes and/or lifting at the Fit Club.
