I may be there Tuesday night, but I know for sure I won't be there Thursday, so if someone takes charge, that would be great.
Here is what was in today's e-mail update.
Here's the plan for Tuesday (5:30 pm, Washington Park Shelter)
We'll warm up around the upper pond, down the hill, turn left and run to the bottom of the hill by the pavilion. Take a rest, then run up the pavilion hill, turn around at the top, run down the hill, turn right at bottom and back over to the hill that leads up to the pond. Turn around at the top of that hill and back to the bottom of the pavilion hill. Rest when you get back to this point. Let's do this three times (total of going up 6 hills). We will then do a cool down (not too hard in this weather!) to MacArthur and back to the shelter.
Does that make sense to everyone?
For Thursday, we'll try the same plan as last week...a couple loops around the park.
Given that it is still dark while we are running, we will probably stay within the park for a few weeks until we get a little more light at that time of day.
The cold is going to continue through the week, so make sure you have the right gear to handle it.
