Sorry I have not been posting as much the past week or so. Things always pick up when the weather turns nice! Plus we have been on the road the past few weekends and I have spent some good time in the yard planting and moving perennials.
For Tuesday, I thought about hills but then thought better of it since we are 2 1/2 weeks out from Indy. You guys have the strength from hills in the past, so we'll concentrate on speed the next couple weeks. Tonight we'll do our negative split, out-and-back runs for 4, 10, and 20 minutes total (out 2, back 2; out 5, back 5; out 10, back 10). On the way back try to get past the start line before the time is up. And keep running if we have not hit the time yet. I'll try to think of a little different route for these tonight, but plan on a warmup and cooldown as well.
For Thursday, we'll run the YMCA route.
I am still working on Saturday's route, but it looks like we'll do a loop up to Sonic and back to Panera then hit the trail, across Stanford all the way over to Bunn Park Golf Course (water). Back Stanford to the trailhead then over across Seven Pines to Chatham Road down to Westchester, cross Veteran's Parkway and then a loop around Parkway Point.
When I get this route mapped out I will post it here...along with a good description.
