Half Wits Route for first run...Saturday, Jan. 31

The Half Wits route for our first long-run of the season will take us north from Cafe Moxo, through Lincoln Park, over to Oak Ridge Cemetery, and back south to Moxo.  This should be familiar territory to LM and Abe's Amble regulars.

I'll have hydration on the east side of Monument by the entrance to Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Here is the link to the map of this Saturday's route.

Don't forget, we will leave Cafe Moxo at 7:30 am this Saturday, January 31 for our first run.

Cafe Moxo is located in downtown Springfield on Adams Street between 4th and 5th.  There is plenty of street parking in the area.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello all!
I'm from out-of-town & I drove in today to stake out the new meeting place. I saw a lot of "No Parking & Loading Zone" signs & I was wondering if this is enforced on the weekends?

The parking meters are not enforced on weekends. Definitely avoid lots that say "no parking, loading zone or you will towed" as they will definitely tow!

I agree with Holly. Meters are only enforced on weekdays. All the yellow curb "no parking" places are not enforced either. There is plenty of parking on 5th Street, 4th Street, Adams Street from 5th to 2nd street.

Parking lots, as Holly points out, are another story. Just stay on the streets.

Thanks!
