Licorice finds a home!

Good news for our little stray (a.k.a: Licorice...at least for a few days!)!

A co-worker of Wendy's picked up Licorice last night for his new home with two other cats just a few blocks away from us. He had a vet appointment this morning for a check up and to get his shots. The co-worker also brought her daughter last night to pick up the kitty and she was very, very excited to be getting a new a friend!

With the kitty gone, Butterscotch is back to her old ways. Even though the 'scotch acted like she didn't want Licorice around, she was always checking up on him and after he left she sat down in front of the basement door like she thought he was still behind it!

All's well that ends well, I guess. Licorice had no idea he would be finding a new home when he showed up at our door last Monday morning!!!
