Anyone for 10 Frosty Miles?

This Saturday, the Frost Toes will be heading out at 7 am for their first 10-mile run, and all HalfWits are invited along as always.

But I've got a special request. One of our runners needs to start early--6:30 am. She's about an 8:00 per mile runner and she doesn't want to run our route alone. Any HalfWits interested in helping out a Frost Toe?

If you can help her out, post a comment here or on the Frost Toes blog. Thanks a bunch!

Wish I could help the 8:00 per mile pace person but the fastest I've run that course was an 8:45 and I almost had a heart attack!

Hope you guys are having fun with the Frostbite training. Wish I could run with you guys but I'm still recovering from my sinus surgery. I'll catch up with you guys in a couple weeks.

I second that Pam! I am just hoping to get thru the 10 miler. Haven't run that long since Chgo. I am going to try to be there and hope for the best. May have to turn around at the half way point.

Just looking forward to running with the group again.

Pam, every time I've attempted to run with you I've been left in the dust! Good luck with your sinus recovery. My wife had that surgery a year ago and has had good luck.

Debi, the Toes will get you through all 10 miles. I promise!

Pamela;
I just saw your name attached to a comment, that means your still ALIVE. Now that your sinus's are clear and you can breath in more oxygen it is time to plan another marathon.LOL!!!

Not yet, I'm still recovering. My nose is going to be inflamed and red for another month. Can't breath very well. I can't even think of another marathon after that mess in Chicago. They say you can't plan your next marathon until you have forgotten your last marathon. I haven't forgot Chicago yet and it may take some time. I feel like it was a bad dream and I need to wake up. I'll probably start doing some easy running soon so I'll meet up with the group in a couple of weeks. I'll be the back of the packer, nothing wrong with that.
