Route for Saturday 4/28

I won't be there on Saturday (we are actually running at 5:30 a.m.). If someone could help with water/gatorade, that would be great. Just let me know.

For the Indy folks...this is your LAST Saturday run before the big race next weekend. You cut back to 7 this Saturday as you taper for the Mini Marathon. You'll be running a simple out and back route on the Wabash Trail to D'arcy's Pint and back to Panera.

Here is the 7 mile map: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=124099

For the Madison crew, or for those who want a longer run, you are scheduled for 13 this Saturday. We'll do the same route that the Indy folks ran last Saturday, out the Wabash Trail and over to Bunn Park golf course, then back across Highland, up to Washington Park, then back over to Chatham Road and across Iles.

Here's the map for the 13 mile route: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=122208

For those of you traveling up to Lincoln for Lincoln College's 2nd Annual Run, Ramble, and Roll (5K fun run on a flat course - with a GREAT brunch afterwards), here is some information:

Emily K. said that if you want to carpool - be in the Clear Lake K-Mart Parking Lot at 8:30. The race starts at 10:00 a.m. and you can register when you get there. Applications are available online.

I'm not kidding about the food!

AND, if interested, we just might continue the post race festivities at the Alley-Bi, one of Emily's old stompin' grounds!

Here's a link to the Lincoln College Alumni website where you can download and print the race application : Run, Ramble, and Roll. And here's is a link to directions: Scroll down to calendar and click on Run, Ramble....

Hope to see y'all up in my neck of the woods (but make sure you still get in that long run on Sunday!)

Tim - the article on your sister is awesome! I swam for YEARS and a good coach makes all the difference in the world. swimming is often overlooked so congrats to her, what a great honor! lm

It is more Mary's stomping grounds than mine, she still lives there. :)

Hope some will like to come! It will be fun! Remember... "beeeer"... Can you hear Homer Simpson saying it?

I think I'm going to try to run the 13, very slow though. I've only done 10 miles tops, so I don't want to over do it.

Kim, I won't be able to join you since I can barely run 13. Adding 3 more would seriously hurt me. Some other time though.

Tim, that was a great article about your sister. As I read it, I thought of you and all of your hard work. You two sound a lot a like. Your parents did an awesome job!

Em, have fun at the 5K! You know I would love to come since I heard the buffet was awesome, lol

Hey Tim,
What's this about kissing the bricks? Could you explain for us Indy virgins?

Wow Em, that is awful about the cub's pitcher. I got a text message Sun. but wasn't sure what it was about. Now I know. Maybe for the reschedule you can get more tickets. Hopefully this time I might be able to make it. Keep us informed.
