Twelve Terrific Miles!

Great job everyone! For all those folks who had their longest run ever last week, well, guess what? That is no longer the case! You have now run 12 miles. One more teeny mile to go for the half marathon.

I don't know about the rest of you, but that was tough today. That last jaunt down West White Oak seemed SO LOOOOOONG.

Hey Chuck or Emily: post something or e-mail me something about the happy hour idea.

And Trish: what did you say about that driver who yelled at you to get on the sidewalk? Ha!

Congrats...and I will post more stuff later.

Good job Half Wits! Great pics! I'm home with the flu, have been out of commission for three days now. Can't wait to get back on my feet. :=(

Tim & Mrs.B, Thanks for always setting up the water/Gatorade stops.Who buys the Gatorade? Do we need to have a kitty for the treats? Just curious..Thanks

Never believed I could really do a half marathon until yesterday's run...the encouragement this group gives is wonderful! I was also spurred on by the Easter eggs and the gatorade (oops...I even forgot I gave up chocolate for Lent). Thank you for everything!!!!

That reminds me - I need to get the egg out of my jacket before I throw it in the wash! I forgot about it and was saving it for after the 12~!

Let me tell you that I have wide eyes after driving the LM route today..That seems FAR but I am sure with a group it will pass quick. Right????

Gotta watch out for the cows along that course. They usually give you a look like "what the heck are you morons doing?"

I was concerned about the dogs, you know that country dogs may look at us like open game. I would hate to run the route too fast due to FEAR..LOL
