A big shout out to Dwayne Blisset for setting up the water stops today. That's a big job!
And thanks to Kris and Jill for baking the cookies and banana bread. What a great way to finish up the run.
Thanks to everyone who is part of the Half Wits this year. This is just a lot of fun!

Thanks for the treats and the water. That was great!
I can't believe that, at my age, I've finally gone "all the way"--to 13.1 miles! Fairly stiff and sore today, but I expected that. Along with thanking Dwayne, Kris and Jill for the water and refreshments on Saturday, here's a bit THANK YOU to Tim Butler for setting up all of this training. Other Half Wits might have gotten this far without the group, but I know I definitely would not have done this on my own. Thanks to everybody!
You wanna do this again, say, in a couple of weeks?
I am pretty sore today too.
But those cookies (yummy M&Ms), Miller Lite and mimosas at the end were very rewarding.
I also, like to express my gratitude to Kris, Jill, Dwayne and Tim and all involved!
Thanks to Tim for the excellent coordination and the treats and water and whoever all made that happen and to Wendy for letting people like me still participate by doing a 1/4 Marathon!! Thanks. Susan
Thank you to Tim, Dwayne, Jill, Kris and everyone else for setting up the training event. It was much more enjoyable to run the course with such a large group, even though I got started very late. Like many, I'm sure, I was stiff afterwards, and needed a 2-hour nap after cleaning up.
Thanks again! Good luck on April 1st (I'm working in Quincy that morning, but I'll be thinking of y'all).
Thanks to the Quarter Crew. It was fun to be out there with everyone even though I wasn't up to the whole 13.1 yesterday. Still quite a challenge at 8 miles. We had fun driving out and passing all you Half Wits on your way out.
Congrats to all.
The Pics are great, sorry we missed running with you all on Sat. Carrie,Hillary and I ran Wed,was glad to say no dog bites to report. I think the long haul is when you turn by the Covered Bridge. I was so glad to see it again. Looking forward to wearing the HalfWit shirt for the Big Race.
