St. Louis--St. Pat's

So, for those who went down there, how was the big St. Pat's race in St. Louis? That's a fun race, especially with the people along the route for the parade!

Weather was awesome. Lots of runners (7,000) or so.

Like Tim pointed...it was weave and go for the first mile and half, but eventually found some running space after that. It was probably my fastest 5 mile time, it was under 40 minutes...but of course its unofficial. Though, I still hold the course record for the fastest Filipino on my block. - LOL

I saw Patty and Molly Schaefer on the course. Ran into Jill and Joe Thiel and Kris Maurer at the finish line. They saw me replenish my fluids with a couple of brewskis after the race.

If you get a chance next year, you should try it. Its always a great time.

I agree with Chuck and Tim, The weather was beautiful. I loved the race. It was JUST like a Springfield race, Bryan Glass, Billy Owens and Joe Thiel had time to shower, change and eat Breakfast before I hauled myself into the Chute. Great course. I really hope all of the half-wits take advantage of out of town races, if they haven't. I love to stay the night and really have fun after the race.(Although I think my idea of fun and CHUCK'S are a little different!!!!) At least we know what happened to all the BEER!!!
Chuck I love the way you have a GREAT time at the races. That's the way it should be!!!

By the way, I am going to be FIRING UP MY EASY BAKE OVEN and getting those cookies to you!!
