Social Half Wits

OK, I'll admit it, I have a little headache this morning.

That was a good time at Sebastian's last night (I can't wait until the smoking ban take effect! Ugh!) and it was fun to hang out with the Half Wits in something other than our running gear. Steph: nice socks!

Some Half Wits were talking about having some post-race fun after the LM next Saturday, so, if you want, plan on bringing some refreshments for after you finish the run. Kim: you want to organize this?

This is just a fun bunch of people!!

Tim sent you some pixs from last night.

My husband and I had a fun time. He enjoyed hearing all of our running stories. I think he might have a twitch to run just a little bit more!!! Wow, to get my husband to run longer? See how encouraging we can all be and not even know it? :)

Thank you Tim and Wendy for all you have done. Thank you for being a part of making this whole running group so great!!!!

Kris~~~ where were the cookies last night? We could have dipped them in our~~~~ beer!!! :):):)

It was hard to recognize everyone with their real clothes on so I didn't get to talk to too many of you, but I really enjoy being part of this group. And as I learn all your names a little more and can recognize you without sweat, ponytails, and running gear, it will be pretty awesome. Even though I live out of town, it was fun to try something new.

I felt well enough to get up and run the seven miles I missed yesterday, too!

Oh, and for afterward next Saturday? Anyone interested in bloody Mary's should meet me at my car afterwards.......But, since I'll have the keys, you'll just have to wait until I crawl over the finish line!

Hi all,
That was a great time last night. It was my first social running event attended and I hope to attend more in the future. I always thought you ladies looked hot in your running gear, but damn...you all looked good last night! :-)

My final night destination was at La Bamba with another running cohort. How did we get there? Maybe we were carbing up...or is it we were hoping it will get rid of the nasty hangover. Regardless, the thought worked.

Lets do it again...Looking forward celebrating your accomplishments next weekend after the race. Ill provide some brewskis and Kim will provide her rendition of "These shoes were made for running" by Nancy Sinatra...(A kareoke star in the making)

BTW, Tim...Like the idea of the backside photo caption contest.

It was great to see everyone, you all do clean up nicely! Thanks for putting up with the smoke, only a few more months to go and we are smoke free. I felt kind of bad that I didn't have my go go boots on when the Nancy Sinatra cranked up!
Next month, April 22, we're at Bernie and Betty's for pizza.
Ali is right, thanks for everything Tim.
Enjoy the ride this Saturday, see you at the finish line.
Emily can I get some of the photos for the newletter, they are excellent!

Hey Half Wits -

Had an awesome time with all of you last night! What a dynamic group of people! Look forward to celebrating again after the race! Oh, and as a reminder, anything I said after two glasses of wine didn't count...ha ha ha.

Chuck, I appreciate you keeping me anonymous for the LaBamba incident, but I think I need to come clean. I'm glad it worked for you...I, on the other hand, am sticking pretty close to home today for obvious reasons.

Tim and Wendy - you two are an amazing couple!! Thanks for all of your efforts with the Half Wits:)

What a mutual love fest! This is the jazzed up super happy, positive zen stuff that used to drive me nuts about runners when I wasn't a runner.

Thanks for appreciating Tim's efforts. He works hard but he enjoys it alot too. And hey, maybe he'll take me out to dinner with him when he uses the gift certificate! You all were very generous.

And thanks for being so great to me too. Even though I got started late and wasn't an official half-wit, so many of you have been a source of motivation for me and have been so friendly.

Have a great race next weekend!

Hey Ali - was that what you and Lak were talking about in the locker room at work? Gee, the walls have ears!

BTW - happy belated birthday! March 21st!

It's my story, Ali, I'm sticking to it! Thanks for your support and I expect to see you cheering us penguins in!

There's good old boys at work? Hmm, maybe on the tech support side.....

You're finding your focus Ali - it shows.
