Saturday's Run(s)

The plan has us cutting back to 7 miles this week as we taper before next weekend's Lincoln Memorial 1/2 Marathon. Weather and wind permitting, let's plan to run the Wabash Trail route to Stanford Avenue, turning around at D'Arcy's Pint. Water/Gatorade will be at the east trailhead.

ALTERNATE SATURDAY RUN: I know there are some folks like myself who are not running the LM next week and who are possibly running the St. Louis 1/2 on April 9. I am planning to run 12 miles this Saturday before tapering back for that race. We will meet at 6:30 am on Saturday at Panera to put in 5 miles before joining the group for the 7-miler. Not quite sure yet what the 5 mile route will be, but I will probably post something later today. OK?

I have to be different again this week. I am going to run 10 miles. I plan to start at Fit Club West at 7:00 a.m. and run to Panera and then hook up with the group for their 7 miles. Anyone who wants to meet me there I'm sure we can bum a ride back from someone. I'll head out right at 7:00 a.m. for the parking lot at Fit Club West.
