You have done the road work, you have dealt with the elements, you have done the hills and the speedwork...all that is left is to run the race!
It is going to be a great day on Saturday. It is possible we could have a record crowd for the race and hopefully the weather will cooperate.
It has been a real joy to be a part of the Half Wits this year. Everyone without a Half Wits shirt out there tomorrow is going to be jealous!

I started running with this bunch of Half Wits just to see if I could really run 9 or 11 miles. I really had no intention of trying to go the full 13.1 miles, or even registering for the Lincoln Memorial race.
Now I'm really excited, really looking forward to the race, knowing that in 24 hours (it's 2pm on Friday) I might be close to the finish line.
GO HALF WITS!!!!

So many people asked about the shirt - I talked to guys from the quad cities about the half wits - they were impressed with out group dynamics (and okay, the tail gate party, too! )
this was Awesome! This is what the power of a group is all about.
