What should we wear for this type of weather? Shorts & long sleeve shirt?

Tights, turtleneck, big mittens . . .

t-shirt, shorts, gloves, head band to cover the ears and then chuck it and gloves later. It all depends on how you like to feel while you're running and how fast you warm up. I ran the race for Brazil in similar conditions wearing a long sleeve shirt, a beanie and shorts and over-heated REAL bad. During the Jingle Bell run I wore a beanie, short sleeve t-shirt and shorts in similar conditions and overheated again from the beanie covering my head.

Wear layers of clothing that you won't mind losing when you chuck them on the side of the road when you get hot. Get a cheap stocking cap, an old sweatshirt and a pair of old socks for mittens and when you get hot just take them off. I wouldn't wear tights but that's just me.

Hey Anonymous...Why are you using the word "chuck" in your vocabulary?

I guess it just depends what "chuck" is..is? right?

"Chuck" is a noun (person, ME), I am not a verb that can be used loosely.

But of course, you can use it both ways here...

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

HA HA HA

See all you Half Wits tomorrow. I'll be chucking along the 5-mile route. I'll be at the finish line awaiting for your arrival and we all can chuck open a refreshment and chuck it down.

I sure hope the state police don't set-up one of those roadside safety checks at Brigeview Beach at about noon Saturday!!!!

Sorry if I offended you Chuck. I could have just said "toss," "throw," or "dispose" but chuck just had a certain. . . I don't know what.

However, if "to chuck" isn't a verb then there probably won't be any Half Wits upCHUCKing after the race, will there?

Good luck everyone!
