It was a very good day for many of you out there today. I know many of the Half Wits have never run a half marathon before...but now you have! You are no longer "Half Virgins."
For me, well, it was another story today. I had a bad one. I really crapped out the second half of the run and had some stomach problems. I had to scoot out quick after the run for an 11 a.m. meeting and I actually threw up right after I got done with that meeting. Yuck!
No, I didn't celebrate yesterday. I only had one beer and spent last night at home watching hoops (go Bradley!).
Luckily the good days outnumber the bad days. Of course, I guess I should probably say every day I can run is a good day;-)

I know what you mean...
It seems with the case for me anything longer than 12 miles...my body seems to fight me with cramping issues too.
Its a never ending struggle, but you go on right. The joys of running and meeting new people surely outweighs those bad days.
Don't worry about Tim. After a nap, some pizza and beer he was good to go again. He obviously didn't have the right training fuel on Friday night.

Tim I felt bad when I passed you. Glad to know you're feeling better now... :) I wish Tom Kushak could have been your hero as he was for me on Saturday. :)
Have to say I was hurting as well. I am so thankful to have had Tom with me. My calves and hams were cramping at mile 9. If it wasn't for him I think I would be crossing the finish line about......... NOW! :):):) It was great to see him and his wife in the paper the next day. They as well as Sanya are great people!!! :) THANKS AGAIN TOM!!!! :)
