Woo Hoo! Team 48

This has nothing to do with running, but if you look under my profile you'll see NASCAR listed as one of my interests.

It's a great afternoon as my driver, Jimmie Johnson of the 48 Team Lowes car, just won the biggest race of the year the Daytona 500. Woo hooo!

Steph:

That's funny. I finished a room in our basement last year that has 48 stuff all over. I still need to get the 48 flag for the front porch though.

That's a great idea for a social! Barb Bonansinga is the special events person and is a big racing fan as well.

Barb: what do you think?

I agree with you on Kurt Busch! I can't stand that guy!

I love JR. My husband and daughter are HUGE GORDAN fans. The only driver I don't like is Tony Stewart and Jeff Burton's wife is ALWAYS crying when they show her-whether he is winning or losing.

Hey Tim, why do they think Johnson was cheating???

The 48 failed inspection following qualifying last week. Some kind of rear window violation. Crew Chief Chad Knauss was kicked out of Daytona for the race and faces a longer suspension. It sounds like they tried to find a gray area in the rules--like all teams--but they got called on it.

So, those who don't like the 48 say they cheated. Of course, the car has passed four inspections since qualifying, including tearing the car apart following the race yesterday.

No cheating yesterday, only a goood car and a good driver!
