Brrrrr!

How about that power of the group? On a day like today, with 15-20 mph winds and 20 degree windchill, it really helps to know you are going to have like 90 people out there running.

Great job today everyone! That route was a tad over 7 miles...7.2 according to one runner with a GPS. You are now well over half way to the 13.1 distance!

Whatcha think?

Felt great! The distance was not as bad as I had thought.Running in the proper clothing makes a big difference. My husband wonders why I run,he states" I never see runners smiling" HA on him he needs to be at Panera when we finish.

Talk about Cold! When I got back to Panera's I tried to comb my hair and there was chunks of ice in it. But the warm smiles and the encouragement of the other runners make it all worth it.

ice? That's what was in my hair! I was pretty worried! It was definately the worst weather I've ever run in ('cause I would have never done this on my own - the power of a group!), but the support of others, regardless of ability, keeps me going. Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement.

I had a coworker ask me today if I was one of the crazy runners on Sat that ran past his house. I was proud to say " Hell Yes " I have to say it felt so good to finish.
